About Us

The Kelowna and Vernon Hospitals Project is a partnership between the BC Ministry of Health, Interior Health, the Central Okanagan Regional Hospital District and the North Okanagan Columbia Shuswap Regional Hospital District.

A Project Team with membership from Interior Health and Partnerships BC oversees all aspects of the project, including planning and scheduling, procurement, contract management, project development and financial planning.

A Joint Construction and Operating Period Committee with membership from Interior Health and Infusion Health oversees all aspects of the implementation phase of the project.

A Project Liaison Committee supports communications and information sharing on the project.

Infusion Health is a joint venture between Bilfinger Berger Project Investments (BBPI) and John Laing, two global leaders experienced at developing and delivering public-private partnerships (PPP) in North America and around the world. Infusion Health works in long-term partnerships with providers of public services to ensure the availability of essential infrastructure and support services. Together with their supply chain, Infusion Health  has designed, financed, built and will operate the Kelowna and Vernon Hospital projects on a long-term basis; BBPI and John Laing each holds a 50% share in the project.
