Participation

We encourage your participation on this website via comments on various pages, and hope you will join the discussions. We can’t respond to every comment, but will try to get back to you if you are looking for specific information. We review comments before they’re posted, and those that are off-topic or clearly self-promotional will not be posted. We also expect a basic level of civility – disagreements are fine, but mutual respect is a must, and profanity or abusive language are not allowed.

Disclosure

Disclosure is an important component of free and open communication. Feel free to debate or disagree with us, but please identify yourself so everyone’s agendas can be open for all readers to see. If you use an alias for privacy or security, you should clearly indicate any bias, agenda, or affiliation. Anonymity has an important role online, but it also empowers anyone who wants to be disruptive and destroy the conversation without contributing. Disclosure forces people to be honest and take responsibility for their own words. Anonymous comments are likely to be moderated or deleted.

Interior Health is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information we collect through responsible information management practices. Any personal information provided to us is collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the British Columbia Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act  or other relevant legislation.
